Frozen Coffee Cocktail

easy frozen cocktail

This is something a little bit different, but delicious. And a great way to enjoy some coffee on a hot summers day! You can use either cold brew or hot brew iced coffee, depending on your preference. But you should be sure to use a strong coffee as freezing can dull down the coffees flavour. So you may find that cold brew coffee or double strength brewed coffee is a good choice. If you are using hot brew coffee, try to cool it down as quickly as you can or it may become bitter the longer it sits.

Ingredients (serves 2):

450ml (2 cups) cold brewed or double strength hot brewed coffee

120ml milk or plant based milk

60ml syrup or agave syrup

90ml rum (or can use Kahlua or bourbon)

Instructions:

Pour your chosen coffee into ice cube trays and freeze until they become solid. Then place 2 cups worth of these ice cubes into the blender, along with the rum, milk and syrup. Blend until the desired snow-like consistency has been achieved, you can add more milk if you feel you need it. And now you can serve and enjoy!
